The book has no title page and the name of the translator is not stated. The contains a series of translations of official documents (listed below) relating to the establishment of the Constitution of the Empire of Japan which was promulgated in 1889. The translations are identical to those found in Commentaries on the Constitution of the Empire of Japan, 1889, translations by M. Ito.
