(12 black and white collotype plates)
|
The colophon attributes the collotype plates to the Ogawa Shashin Seihanjo (Seihan Sho) [Ogawa Photoengraving Company/Factory]. The Hakubundo as published Shashin Shinpo, a periodical photographic magazine, and Ogawa printed collotype illustrations for that publication. A book with the same twelve collotype plates titled Scenes in Nikko and Vicinity was published by K. Ogawa ca 1892. For information on that book, click here. All 12 Black and White Collotypes by K.
