Two distinct varieties of this lithograph have been observed.

 

Type I

Type I
The small boat at the rear of the Mississippi does not have a flag visible. The smokestack of the Mississippi is approximately 1/2 ~ 1/3 visible through the smoke.

 

 Type II

Type II
The small boat at the rear of the Mississippi has a flag visible. The smokestack of the Mississippi is approximately 1/2 ~ 3/4 visible through the smoke.
