~~ Book 1954120809-6 ~~This is Okinawa Dating this book. Like many of Blackie's books, this book (first edition) does not have a date of publication on the title page. However, other editions do carry dates. An edition with no printing number specified and a copyright notice dated 1954, the Tuttle imprint with printing by Kyowa Printing is presumed to be the first edition (printing). A fourth printing dated 1959 and seventh printing dated 1963 have been confirmed. The later printings state "First Edition 1954."
